Given the sanctions on people close to Putin it seems incredibly implausible that if there was even a whiff of such a thing happening it would be allowed to continue. Money is traceable to a reasonably large degree and even if it came via 3rd countries it would still arouse suspicions if a small number of entities were constantly on the buy side. Furthermore they'd have to hold the price up for 6 months (until Trump can sell his stake), meanwhile they're bankrolling all other stockholders.
