Cant ask the VAT office as they will have gone to bed I imagine....

Just been sent an email by a customer saying that I don't need to charge VAT on goods I sell to Norway...is this the case?

No VAT on any export goods, Services are different though and it depends in which country the service took place.

(edited to say assuming Business to Business sales)

Is that just to Norway???

According to the bod at the VAT office I still charge for EU sales...is this not the case??

I went through the details with them, and they told me that the only exception is if I am selling to another business.

Norway is not in the EU.

There are different rules for sales to businesses in EU and non-EU countries.

And yet again, we have a business related question in the wrong forum.
