How dodgy that the price tanked 3 minutes seconds before the detailed RNS was released?! Although the site has crashed so I cant read it!

It's quite a lengthy read.

Too long to have had a detailed analysis yet, but all seems to be very good repsonses from a skim read. Pretty happy with the 3 pieces of the puzzle today - Director announcement that they will buy asap, RNS rebuttal and RNS about legal action.

Back to 40p......? smile

Hope so!

Once people have digested it I think it will climb steadily again.

That would be nice.

Firmly in the 30's would be a perfectly acceptable start though.

"It is the intention of a number of the Directors to purchase shares in Quindell once they receive clearance from the appropriate regulatory bodies."

What now that the price is half of what it was? Will they be buying it with the money they made shorting the stock in the first place? winkhehe

bought into QPP at 23p - thought i'd missed out on the previous rise but another chance to get in.

sorry if you got caught in the rush down, but if there is any justice this should be straight back up. Nothing's changed smile

Bought a few more on Tuesday at 25p. Initial batch I bought at 30p, topped up at 39p. Not sure what my average is.

In the past I've topped up 3 times above 40p - so don't feel too bad.

Interesting that it mentions "an investor" - singular.

Not good really. Although I can't find anything online elsewhere about Cannacord removing their rating (they say they are reviewing) or the bank pulling out.

Hope the FT article isn't just written on rumours coz it will do massive damage if the rumours don't come true

Think the damage is done on QPP now; whilst I have a small bit left in, I can't imagine it going up for a while now.

This to me is one of the most damming things to come out of QPP's response:

FT said:
The software company, which was once a golf club and leisure business before joining London’s junior stock market, has said that it has begun legal action against the shortseller.

However, it declined to give further details, including the grounds on which it is acting.
Its very easy to say "we'll sue, we'll sue" and being all aggressive about it, but when you're talking to experienced investors with millions of pounds under management the answers need to be better than that! Why are you suing? Who are you suing? On what basis? Otherwise all they look like is a dog backed into a corner.

Quindell's full response isnt particularly good either. It's a lot of words which seek to explain, rather than refuting many of the allegations.

Its no wonder people are still taking short positions - sell the rumour, buy the fact - there is a lot of rumour and very little fact!
