Yeah, still there. Looks like the initial run after the first phase of good news has definitely ended!
Should start the mining in the coming days/weeks, so some news to follow on that.
Tempted to top up at 0.4p to be honest. A load of shorters will have made a load of cash on this for sure its been quite volatile.Should start the mining in the coming days/weeks, so some news to follow on that.

Yeah! Had considered a dabble on this one a few months back. I say "dabble" - I think that would be "gamble"...Now I'm stuck in that "Cut your losses and run or ride her all the way down or possibly back up" dilemma. Honestly I think that I will let this run and see where she goes, at worst I'll bail when there's only £100+ dealing fee left there so I can have a meal on it to remember my stupidity of buying and AIM share, not the product!
So... Quindell
What does everyone think of the allegations that have come out in the past few weeks? It's hard to get any sensible opinions on the boards as everyone seems to be a complete believer of the company or totally against.
Even if only a fraction of the claims are true then surely there is major trouble ahead?

Having not put a penny into them and not looked too far into them I have to say that my impression is that they are a dead duck. I wouldn't put a penny in now, too much chance for it to fall through the floor on another bad report and there is just so much st flying about some is highly likely to stick. What does everyone think of the allegations that have come out in the past few weeks? Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at. It's not a company I have any intention trade, just a story that has piqued my interest. I find it amazing that a company that has been valued at over £1 billion could potentially have been built on a foundation of smoke and mirrors.red_slr said:
AAPL might breach $100 today
That'll be nice (I'm holding for the long term having bought n in 2011 - August)Also interested in INVN. Think they might be the supplier for any new AAPL offerings needing motion sensors. (But - caveat - do your own research et cetera, et cetera...)

Anyone looking at GTAT? Possibly a cup and handle formation developing will know better once the handle has formed but the measured move should take the stock to at least $21.
I was in at 15 out at 19, back in at 17....then it dropped 15.....back to 18.Some estimates say 25, I'll be out long before that
There was an article in the Guardian saying the sapphire screens would not be in the next Apple product.
It doesn't appear to have impacted the price recovery (so far)
Anyone have any thoughts on Fracking companies? Worth looking at?
I'm looking at long termers to put into a SIPP and almost forget about for a number of years (20-ish) and I get the feeling that, protesters aside, fracking could be a pretty large part of the UK energy supply in the future.

If you are going to buy and "almost forget about them" why not just buy some, say, Junior Oils units and let someone else manage them?
I've never really considered managed funds and things like that. Not sure why, I guess I just prefer the idea of being able to do things as and when I want. I also don't fully understand how they work, so that's probably part of it too!If you buy into a fund or a managed account type of thing, is it just a case that the manager chooses what to buy and when to sell and takes a cut of whatever you make?
