Some serious strength in this market for now still waiting for a pullback. Got long some baba at 110.60 will load up on more if it sees 107.
Had some DDD from the other day looking good so far probably sell it around 37.
Gold had a nice move up from last week not quite sure if it's bottomed yet.

Thoughts please - are there any companies at the forefront of drone technology who are worth investing in?
The obvious one is GPRO - every drone sold = at least one GoPro sold.
Does AMZN still hold an interest in drone technology?
Thanks
Amazon are at the forefront of drone technology - but they aren't using it yet.The obvious one is GPRO - every drone sold = at least one GoPro sold.

When they do use it (and yes they will one day) they will certainly do it all in house.
Check my profile and you will see I know what I'm talking about

Investing in gpro for the long term, not so sure thats a good idea. Short term trading it a different matter.Common sense says - # of drones sold per annum will be vanishingly small vs. the number of GPRO units.
High end drones come with their own built in camera anyway.
Won't move the needle for them.
Not picking a fight with anyone but not so convinced with Amazon as a longterm investment either, I'll stick to trading it.
Wall St has always gives Amazon a free pass on cash flow and profits, it's a top line growth story. I think that view is changing.
In short Amazon is priced as if your investing in the future, forget the profits for now because the reinvestment will lead to marketshare and revenue growth. IMO they need to start showing that soon the last few quarters haven't been great. How long before the street looses patience.

Anyone been involved with Fitbug or keeping track of that. It's got to be one of the wonder stories of 2014.
