So new all time highs dividend adjusted in the SnP 500, sounding the all clear?
Must admit never saw it coming back this far, back in Feb.
Just FA left in FANG, the earnings bar is so low and both Nflx and Goog still missed, add to that Intel, Ibm and Microsoft, tech isn't looking so good.

Anyone looked into Ilika (IKA)? have just bought in a small amount at 60p as it looks as though some technology they have a hand in developing/producing could bear fruit quite soon. Large congress happening on 28th April where the CEO is presenting about solid-state battery advances that they have made and (IMHO, of course) I think that the technology could be something with pretty wide reaching applications.
Will wait and see, but could be an interesting one to keep an eye on
Good shout on IKA. Bought a few at 60p as well, heading up nicely. Will wait and see, but could be an interesting one to keep an eye on

Yes, thanks for the tip, fingers crossed.
Is it a case of buy on rumour and sell on fact? I guess we will see tomorrow. I may sell half depending on how much or if they rise more. It would be nice to bank some profit for a change!
RNS this morning announcing the battery, very interesting couple of days coming up! Not sure what impact this morning will have on the share price though as I think it could already be factored in (just IMO), but the presentation tomorrow night and the investor session Friday could bring in some larger investors and possibly an announcement about interested parties for the product. Is it a case of buy on rumour and sell on fact? Well, I wasn't expecting a 5% drop from IKA today! I'm sure someone much cleverer than I will have some ideas why - possibly a case of the thought of the product was more attractive to investors than the reality of it?
Either way, I'm still up so am going to hold on for tomorrow and Friday's shenanigans with the presentations and go from there. The next step for commercialisation should be to get a manufacturer of smart-tech on board and I guess it's possible that this is already on the cards? Who knows!

You're worrying about a 5% move on an AIM stock?Either way, I'm still up so am going to hold on for tomorrow and Friday's shenanigans with the presentations and go from there. I like what you did there
took a tiny tiny amount of May 260 calls just in case. Too risky to hold straight shares either does $300 or back to test those lows in Feb....guide to 500k units by 2018, will they really hit that. 1 million by 2020 Elon has been

So Tesla after the bell will it go ludicrous mode.
I've said it so many times before but Tesla is going to go bustwtf is Musk talking about now - they are now saying they are going from 50,000 to 500,000 cars in the next 2 years
its just absolute rubbish - it simply can't be done
they can't even produce the cars for this year that they forecast 3 months ago
They are losing so much money they are going to have to sell so many shares this autumn and I don't think its go to be easy to get it

I have disagreed with you in the past traxx but I have to say that 500k target is a little... what you might call... punchy!wtf is Musk talking about now - they are now saying they are going from 50,000 to 500,000 cars in the next 2 years

Although once again you seem to be muddling the numbers.
He gave guidance in February to deliver 80-90k cars for 2016 and then reiterated that guidance last night. That's on target no?
Sure he is having supply chain teething issues on the Model X but sounds like those will be caught up by year end.
And in fact he did still deliver on the 16k production in Q1 (15,510 - JUST!!).
And remember deliveries lag production - he will be at a 2k per week run rate for H2 so essentially 100k per annum which means 500k is 5x rather than the 10x you imply.
Oh and once again I think you are wrong about going bust.
They would have been net cash flow positive for the year if they hadn't decided to expand capacity!!
You can't have it both ways - give him grief for being cash flow negative AND grief for ramping up production!
I don't think I would be buying the stock on this valuation or with yet another rights issue ahead but they are still a very very long way from bust.
