A slightly more general question that I am currently pondering:

Ignoring how likely you think this is to happen, assume in 5+ years UK interest rates have steadily increased back up to 3%. What level do you think the FTSE 100 would be at?

Tesla earnings today.

Massive IF this breaks out it's going to be a monster run wouldn't short this wave if they beat.

How can anyone burn through $8million/day?
(and even they forecast it will rise to $10m/day in the second half)

Anyway at least they have told us that they are using the $300m from those fully refundable Model3 deposits to finance the company - I mean what could possibly go wrong with that?

Just another momentum stock, the reaction aftermarket says it all, reminds me of Netflix trading purely on sub numbers. As you know there's the fundamentals and then the way the stock trades no point using logic to trade this.

We both know at some point it's going to be a great short but get the timing wrong on these type of stocks and it will really sting. As much as I want to short it, technically if it breaks out there's a potential path there to all time highs and more.

Twitter is acting strange last 2 days, wonder if there's a buyout coming soon.

Sound Energy (SOU) doing very nicely for me indeed.
And me smile - I'm just trying to gauge when to pull out my original investment. Can't see that being before the results of the next drill though.
Im hoping for 70p+ before taking any out personally. But I dont actually have that much in so isnt really worth it for me before that.
I'm in as well - I'll be in for post TE-8/Badile news personally. Maybe with a little hop, skip and jump into PANR in the meantime between TE-7 and Sidi spudding. smile

I've made 300% on my modest investment thus far but have stars in my eyes that it could go into the pound territory and beyond.

Let's hope so! It's still a risky play, but news in the next few days could help firm things up.

Morning folks.
Do any of you out there use an app for share price alerts. I was thinking of the type of thing where you get an automatic notification when a share you are watching gets to a certain price.
I've searched t'internet and my phone app store and am struggling to find something.

Cheers.

Saxotrader.
Or IG on their CFD platform. Or you can pay from it from the LSE http://www.lse.co.uk/premium/

Thanks.

Back on topic, Sirius (SXX) seem to be doing well again. Hopefully finance news is not far away & works on site commence shortly after which should see a further decent increase hopefully.

I bought a few in Sirius ( SXX) a while back, I think they were .16p so I've doubled my money today which is nice.

Also have some in igas which I bought a while back. Currently negative but creeping back up to balancing out. All this talk by Teresa May on fracking I think is helping. I know it's an emotive subject to some!

Alternative energy companies seem worth a bit of research.

Nice little squeeze on oil last few days not sure how much more upside is left here before a retest of last weeks lows or potentially into the 36-37's

Just browsing over a few things, the Usd should it continue to rally is of obvious concern coupled with what the inflation expectations have done the last few days. Noticing copper and steel stocks rolling over but does anyone have a view with what's going on with libor rates?
