SOU is now a bottom draw one for me too.

Ive taken profit so am just going to leave the rest and re-visit in 6 months to see whats happened (not literally but you know what I mean). Maybe they will be worth nothing, maybe they will be worth a hell of a lot. Maybe itll now drift for a while. I personally think itll hit £2 if the next reports are as predicted, but all of this talk of £10+ seems mental at the moment. Perhaps Shell will buy the company for £100 a share then I can retire at 30 hehe
I don't think £10 is out of the realm of possibility if Tendrara is as big as they believe & at the minute there isn't a reason to believe otherwise. Will take years to fully unlock though. Personally I believe SOU will be taken over by Shell before then but I wouldn't like to guess at what price.

Well that and iPhone7 orders and operator support are way better than expected.
Yes, next quarter earnings should be good too. Technically speaking nice breakout that should target $120+ and possibly new highs but I wouldn't be buying it here needs to pull back first.

Anyone having a look at Pantheon resources? Currently down 50% in a week on a failed horizontal drill (vertical drill was no issue, simply trying to increase flow), seems very oversold to me.

I've jumped in at 89p.
No-one else get in on this?

Now £1.14.

I was in Pantheon for a while when it went from 80p to £1.80 - bailed on the downturn and bought sound. Called it very lucky - it has the potential for £8.00 per share given a successful drill program with VOS and VOBM - if it can prove up Kara farms then happy days for all investors.

Surprised there isn't anything in the mainstream news about DB.

Only 20% down in 2 weeks testing all time lows... I'm sure everything's fine there, it's not like it's important....

Isn't this what "people" meant by the phrase Too Big To Fail some 8 or so years back???

Except it's not a $14bn fine. That's just the opening offer from the DoJ to settle. Won't end up anywhere near that.

Hey, you don't need to tell me - I am just reporting the news here that usually savvy investors (I am looking at you twinturboz wink) should be well aware of!

fk sake. I just got stopped out of SOU at 71p! What the hell happened there?!

Pretty much lost all profits on the stake I left in. It's now 20p up from there so missed getting back in.

That's AIM oilers for you unfortunately. It's the same story over and over with them.

Hope you manage to make it back again.

God knows what's gone on today, but it smells a bit. From 93 to 68 in 50 mins, then back up to 90 in another 50.

A company called 'Puget Sound Energy' put out a statement just before it happened about something they were doing exploding. Lots of people could have read the name of the company wrong. If that's the case it's fking ridiculous.

I did get back in but effectively lost 2000 shares.

Managed bear raid.

Rockhopper had the ultimate one back in 2010 - 260p to 60p to 240p in the space of a couple of hours.

Very shortly after that it released news that it had discovered oil at sea lion and rose a lot further...make of that what you will. wink

I'm not in SOU but good luck to all that are, far too much hype around it for me.

I knew about the fine it's only 80% of it's market cap wink but I meant more about the fact that the market is largely ignoring the fact it's trading at new all time lows or the problems it could pose.
Might well be a case that it's just ignored till it breaks into single digits. Conversely it's hugely shorted so who knows maybe it's ripe for a squeeze.

I guess the Fed is the more pressing issue today.

Think yourself lucky - I went into SXX at 39p. They then announce the much feared realisation costs would be much higher than first thought and down it goes. Only a small £1500 punt but a pain none the less. I'll continue to hold though just in case.
I'm not a massive fan of the AIM stocks mainly as I have to hold for a month before I can sell due to compliance regs at work so can't take advantage of the dips/rises described above smile
