£50,000 at 1.35% average return p.a. means you might expect £675 a year - or £56.25 a month. Regrettably the big prizes mean most punters get much less than that and in any event your money is shrinking relative to inflation.

Had an email this morning so checked expecting the usual £25 but got a nice surprise, £1050.00 Wife also got £25. I suspect this will be as good as it gets for us.

Just had my first win, £25.

I only have £3500 in there, £2.5k which only went in 1-2 months ago and 1k from July, so not bad going!

Scrolling through the winners I spotted somebody won £5k from £100 bond from 1978!!

Nice! Nothing more than £25's for us this year biggest win I had was £300 back in the day. I don't think there is even a £300 prize now.

For the first two months I had £2k with no wins, now I've upped my stake to £48k and still no wins this month

You aren't going to win anything meaningful at all.
You may get 1% average over the year, if you're really lucky you may get 2%.
Then when you get bored in 10 years, that £48k is still only £48k...
If you're happy with that then stick with PB's.

I'm aware of the rough % p.a. return I'm likely to get on it. I've done all the "high" interest accounts and it's money I can't really stick away for any meaningful period of time so I might as well gamble on the PB for now. May win £1m tomorrow
