You've held premium bonds for 58 years and never won a bean!? I'm not having that.
I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to hold (a substantial) amount in PB and leave it there if they hadn't won for 6 years, never mind 60.
Hope it's not a large amount that you could have bought a couple of houses with 58 years ago and been letting them out ever since...

BTW - If it's a tenner, ignore all that!
£1 bought when I was born, £10 added in 1970, £2000 a year ago, nothing zippo fk all. MiL has £5k and wins about £200 a year

had a few 50s, 100 once, all together won about 6-700 - not the greatest return on the length of time held.

Nothing for years and then last week my son and I both win £25!? Bonds bought separately at different times.

Just coincidence I guess.

Another £50 for me this month.
I've just looked back at my history and an average of £20k is netting me £400 PA. Would an ISA return so much?

It's 'only' 2% tax-free return. Then again I think some of us treat the P.B. as a bit of fun, hoping for the big prizes.

Still, better than mine; haven't won anything in the last 12 months.

Well it's 2% so it's just about possible if you know where to look. My current account pays more than that after tax and my stocks and shares ISA has earned about 8% PA average over the last ten years although the latter is more akin to sticking a pin on the racing pages of a newspaper.
What day of the month do you know if you've won anything?

£50 on £22k though not sure if the recent £5k I stuck in was counted this month.

It depends how you want to know, the letter arrives about two weeks after, If you log on you can see now.
When logging on don't necessarily look for winnings (it doesn't get updated very quickly), but look at your Bond history and you will see it there.

I've held £20 since 1982 and a further £100 since 2000.

I've won nothing, but it hardly seems worth moving them.

2x£25 on 16k for me smile

Was recently moaning about not winning anything for months and started calculating time VS other investments but Premium bonds still winning.

Think in total to date i have won about £450, But that was starting from about £1500 then adding more and more over the last 2 years or so.

Another £25 (max held) in April's draw. Very pleased with the numbers. Must be closing in on the big one sometime soon...

I no longer have any expectations of PB. I just use it as a convenient place to dump some short term cash.

Won £50 with a grand in just over 12 months, deposited a further £2500 4 months ago and....nothing. Maybe next month?

IF everyone is so outraged take it out? Stop moaning about it. They publish the average rate!

Personally given unless you have a LOT of money as in over 100k in savings the return is generally beer money I'd rather have it somewhere with a bit of fun attached to it.

75 quid on 20k.

GBP325 in total this year, not bad if it continues like that!
