I get a cheque from them by post. Trouble is the frequency of them means that Mrs Z knows I've dropped a few quid without having to open it for me

I did a win analysis from 2012 to see what the percentage return was for me. Average win is £300 a year on a 30K holding showing a 1.06% return. I topped up to 50K in December so looking to win £500 plus a year to maintain the average return.
Wouldn't do any better with the money in a savings account and there is always the chance of something big.

My first draw was in October (I put in £1000 in August)

So far I've had £100 back (two £25 and one £50 win)

Let's see if my luck continues! I won nothing in January though

2 x £25 on £7,025. Considering I've only had bonds since August, with the £25 I had last month I'm pretty happy with a return in excess of 1% in 7 months.

£25 here wife got nothing about time as well as she's been on one hell of a winning streak.

Blimey! On how much?

I got another £50, so whilst it's been poor for four months, I'm still above 2% for the rolling 12 months.

Nothing this month. Still, 10% over the last six months is welcome smile

Nothing in January and nothing this month on 50k. Better win next month or I will be considering my options.

Put £1000 into Premium Bonds in Dec 16. Got £50 there. So far much better than in the bank!
