Are Rockhopper paying people to come on Pistonheads and tell us to buy there shares?
Gets boring after a while...
Hmm - looking on iii at a YTD graph, peak ~ 380, trough ~ 140, 291 today - if you'd bought at 380 then "up 21 today" wouldn't fill you with cheer, and now that we've decided to put our Navy on hold for a decade or so, Gets boring after a while...

I too, have never won anything. In my case, it was £2 in PBs bought when I was born. I'm not far off 48 now. Its never encouraged me to buy any more I must say...
How can you honestly say just because you haven't won only owning £2 worth of PB's puts you off buying more? Or should there be a sarcastic smiley after it?£25 this month for me.

£25 this month for me.
Its not something I ever thought about. They turned up 12 years ago and I sent them in to be checked/updated/address altered etc and they came back with "no win" or whatever and I just thought "well if they haven't won anything in 35 years (as it was then) the odds on winning anything must be incredibly small".£25 this month for me.
Unlike some on here I have never had a spare 30k to punt on them, so any savings I do have will always go on guaranteed interest.
I've had pbs for some 8 years now, not a bean.
I had about 3k at the most and didnt get anything. When we purchased the flat I encashed 2k of that and left a grand (as an alternative to spending 50 or 60 quid a year on lotto tickets). Now we have the flat, instead of paying the service charge (which isnt inconsiderable unfortunatly) everymonth to the managing agent, I buy the equiv sum in pbs and pay the service charge bill every 6 months- so at least I'm in with a chance of winning something in the meanwhile...
