I RX. what you're saying, but I quite like having the bonds. I've received 2.5% returns this year on them and I quite like the excitement of waiting to see if I've won a prize. I'm only sat on £20k (£20,500 with prizes added) so I'm never going to make much cash wherever I have it. Instant(ish) access should I need it and zero risk. I don't see a downside.

I don't think anybody in here is expecting huge returns, but it's instant access, better than the highstreet banks and it provides some anticipation/excitement once a month not knowing what "interest" you'll get. Roll on my £1m win tomorrow
