£75 this month, in the form of £25x3. I think the biggest win I've ever had was £100, but if I pull the money out I can't think of anywhere else to stick it.
Z4M's are doing well.I can't believe how people are so happy to accept such dreadful returns.
You'd get £80 a month letting out a £10k lock up.

Yes, but there's a lot more knowledge involved in finding a lock-up (presumably you mean a shop unit, not a lock-up garage), buying it, looking after it, making sure the money comes in, paying for it when it's empty, and the brevity of that list shows how little of it I have. PB is easy and has a remote chance of returning more (and, I know, a good chance of returning less). I can't believe how people are so happy to accept such dreadful returns.

I'm not "happy to accept such dreadful returns", just need to be a lot more knowledgeable about other possibilities before I'd take a risk. All those derelict shop units you see that only an idiot would buy? That'd be the stuff that ends up in my "portfolio". Every time I consider doing something more challenging I can see more down sides than up sides.
I meant a garage. A well bought garage in the right area need never be empty.
My Dad has had the same amount in PB since the early 90's. He's won £10k and £5k and lots (and lots!) of other smaller amounts but i think in the past 5 years it's really lost its' appeal.
Not to mention his holding in 2017 is the same amount as it was in 1992...

Ah, I see. I used to rent lock-ups to keep my cars in, and they seem to be a dying thing in this area at least. I can't say I've seen single ones for sale around here (though I must admit I've not been actively looking), they tend to be in blocks locally. Or knocked down to build housing on.I am repeatedly annoyed and disappointed that I can't think of anything to do for additional return - I've got time on my hands, an amount of intelligence, and an amount of capital to back it up. But, that's dragging away from topic really.
