That Permavent lightweight membrane is absolutely dire. I wouldn't have had my roof done in that. Tonker, I would check the headlaps on those tiles, doesn't look enough, but it could be the pic. Going to be a lovely place by the look of it.

Sorry for the late input, got link from 'What does your house look like' Doh!

The one on the left.

It has a more 'organic' feel than the other, which looks a bit industrial.

Meh. I hate kitchens which look like operating theatres.

Truth be known, I hate that American dark oak / walnut stuff too.

Today's trendy kitchen is tomorrow's avocado bathroom suite.

Cream high gloss (acrylic?) and walnut is a nice look, much softer / warmer than white. As on the other thread, keep with the modern look, and go with the one on the right.

Fair point! But how long do you expect a kitchen to last?
Any avocado bathroom will be well past it's sell by date any way.

But wouldn't it be boring if we all just stuck with the same old traditional design / style.

Everyone has their own tastes, and what is ideal for one customer can be awful for the next. Neither are wrong, just different tastes.

Oh ar$e! Will a claim be void as the property was unoccupied? What a pain in the neck in any case. Looking forward to seeing more pics as the build continues, though.

(We're only two weeks from regaining possession, too, by the way).

Well done Tonker, spot on.

TV, FM & DAB aerial outside on the chimney.

Diplexer inside to combine the FM and DAB signals together

DAB/FM combination into the FM Port on the 16way TV Amp, TV into the UHF Port.

All outputs then carry UHF (TV), FM & DAB. Then depending what you plug into the ports in the room will depend on what channels (radio or tv) you receive. If you need any pair you can simply put a splitter on the output or a diplexer (to split and filter) the signals for TV / FM / DAB.

Does that help?

Amp I supplied was this one.

Brill. So as per our previous email conversation, if I bang a Quattro LNB into this and multiplexing face plates, I can get any Freesat channel off any plate?

No, Sorry RED.

But it can still be done.

You need an IRS Switch, I'll photograph the install I am doing this week which is the same as yours.

Dish, FM & Radio into a switch box, outputs to TV Plates carrying Sat, FM and DAB. Now you can either split these all out at the plate, or run it as single output and just split it (cheap, but it will work) to each service if you need more than one output.

Does that make sense?

Is that a good one to pick for my loft to distribute the standard TV signal around the house? The satellite feeds all run to the airing cupboard and will be dealt with separately.
