12kg would be fine, I think mine are 8kg, and as they are not extended that wide it seems more than sufficient. The rail rises back up quite easily with a fair weight of clothes on it.
These are the ones I have: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200973418901?var=5001920...
Thanks, I need to measure up when I'm next home as I think my wardrobe is closer to 1500 wide than the 1150 max. Reckon it's a difficult job to add a wider rail? These are the ones I have: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200973418901?var=5001920...

It's pre-oiled but it shouldn't be getting wet as you say. I can't take all the credit as GTO-3R on here gave me the idea for the shape ages ago. We knew what we wanted but couldn't quite pin it down on paper.
Glad you went with it, it's a really sociable design and one i've done a few times. Looks great
Wren still haven't delivered the remaining bits of my kitchen (over 4 months now) so I am now having to dispute the transaction with my card vendor.
LightwaveRF also haven't been able to deliver my order either (5 months!) so I have cancelled that and hoping they will refund my money, which they had taken from my card 5 months ago.
Every other supplier has been fine to deal with!

The only problem is the middle bit of the rail is narrower than the outsides and that is the bit the handle attaches to.
Got it today, looks pretty decent. I'm going to over-sleeve the entire thing to get the extra width, but should be able to retain the middle section inside so that won't be a problem. The plastic handle you pull on looks a bit crap though, that'll need to be replaced with something a bit nicer when I have time.Still plugging away, been a bit slower these last few weeks as I have been away on a stag or playing/watching football quite a bit. My Dad was also allowed this Sunday off for his 60th!
We are just getting the ceiling finished in the kitchen and dining room ready for the plasterers at the moment then the focus will shift onto the bed, which is my Dad's thing and the concrete worktop moulds at the weekend which is more of my area.
Virgin are installing TV and broadband today and we have had to move 2 light switches now that we have cancelled our lightwave order.

Not a huge amount of progress over easter, just little things.
One of the cats had started to attack the back door when she wanted to get back in again, clawing at the rubber seals so we have had to fit a cat flap to the back door. Big cat is off at the moment getting her integrated key fitted, little cat is having her bits chopped out in 2 weeks to ensure no unwanted babies!
The ceiling above the island is now ready for plastering and as soon as more plasterboard arrives the dining room ceiling will be finished ready for plastering. There has been a general tidy up of the main bathroom, pink foam removed from the bath, various bits siliconed and the towel rails sorted.
The oak for the master bedroom floating bed has arrived, so my Dad is starting on that today.
The hall edison chandelier went up at the weekend, but my OH doesn't like the way it is placed. I thought it was meant to be placed in random places, she wants it in a regular pattern. The problem with having it in a completely regular pattern is that unless they are all very close to the centre, the ones nearest the front door will hit the door as it opens. Some of the wires are a little too long so may need to be shortened. Any suggestions?

Great thread, congratulations on a beautiful and handmade home! So much more satisfying when you do the work yourself.
On the light I have seen the uniform distribution but varying drop lengths if you see what I mean, the shorter drops could be over the door opening arc. Would involve trimming and extending the cords as appropriate of course.
