Outstanding! hehe None of the neighbours called Trumpton then? Result! The only way you could make this better would have been to cook some sausages on (very long)sticks.

Where's the obligatory post informing you of your duty to inform building control, planning dept, get certification from the fire officer, fensa certs to ensure the window frames were of combustible quality to abate harm, gas safe presence to aid in case of harmful products of combustion and a certificate of disposability for all the debris plus landfill taxes paid up front etc etc.

Good work that man.

What the OP missed in his opening post, and makes it even better, is that the *actual* reason for burning the shed down was just to remove the bench vice from the shed. Taking the inverse route, namely removing the shed from the bench vice, is a stroke of genius.

Which I think gives him an unassailable lead in the '2012 PH Overkill Competition'. Bravo sir.

If they ever publish another "PH Best Bits" book, that should definitely be up there!

Epic, epic win.
