A wild flower meadow is quite a lot of work to establish, and would need semi-annual cutting once established - ideally with something like a sickle bar mower / powered scythe after flowering and then the "hay" collected once the seeds have had a chance to disperse.

Also, be warned, wild flower seed / plug plants are surprisingly expensive.
