Yes I got a order confirmation. There very prompt and emailed me to confirm my setup.
Ordered Sunday and delivered yesterday.
It's not doing a lot at the moment apart from heating water on a schedule twice a day
Looks like it's an issue at my end then. Had a couple of contacts msg via other means to say they were getting bounce backs.Ordered Sunday and delivered yesterday.

I did say i didn't want Tado as it has no physical device, but i'm going to get drawn in my the fact it's cheap. Today is the last day to order though!
I'm useless when it comes to DIY (it's my first house, so it's all new to me!), so i think i'll get them to fit it. I have a Baxi combo with wifi thermostat at the moment.
It's one of these:
Has anyone fitted Tado in place of a device like this? Was it really easy? and how is power done, does it require a socket?
Thanks

Mine was like yours. Power comes from the boiler. I only had 3 wires and the Tado install guide made it fairly easy. Live, neutral and a heating on wire (cant remember the name). If you have done basic electrical like sockets, light switches i'd say you'd be ok.
Run through the compatibility checker online and see if they have that system on there, mine was on there so it made it relatively easy (Unit I did something thick!)
That box should be pretty simple. You can also email for help, have a go yourself, then get the electrician to fit it when it goes wrong.
Why is today the last day to order it?

Anybody know of a smart thermostat that supports multi-stage heating in the UK? The US Nest does, but I can't figure out whether the UK version does.
Nest v4.0 mentions:Improvements for multistage systems
For systems with two stages of heat plus auxiliary heat, the Nest Thermostat will use less energy and still maintain your comfort. By activating second and third stages of heat separately, your Nest Thermostat can keep you cozy and avoid using expensive auxiliary heat.
Tado has been delivered and the various bits are charging.
We currently don't have a thermostat so it's not a direct replacement for me (unfortunately).
Now i know i'll probably ending up paying for an electrican/heating engineer to do the install but I wanted to see if I've understood the process correctly.
Boiler wiring plan below;
Boiler fittings:
Red cable is in a loop
Now Tado have supplied me a three core cable (Brown, Blue & Yellow/Green). Assuming the usual brown for live, blue for neutral and yellow/green for earth (in this case switched live?)
Can I just confirm the following:
1. Brown Live to existing live terminal
2. Blue to neutral
3. Yellow/Green to 2
4. Remove red loop
5. Label cables (at both ends) accordingly using kit supplied by Tado
At the Tado end I then have
L / N / (H)
L - Live
N - Netural
(H) - Switched live
This should save me having to run a new cable from boiler switch in the understairs cupboard to simply pick up a live. Or I've completely go that wrong and I'd still need to run a cable from the switch to the tado (pain in the butt) and then a 2nd cable from the tado to the boiler.

Installed mine over the weekend. The web installer guided me through the relevant install procedures, starting with blanking my original thermostat, hanging the new solar one and then replacing the controller.
For those running the Tado on iPhones though, is the location icon visible all the time in the status bar?

Alrighty then, Ive got my Bosch / NeFit Easy installed and running.
It was very, very easy to do. I had to change the backing plate for the thermostat and install a communication module for my boiler. 30mins physical work and some wire splicing. Once the thermostat was plugged in all I had to do is input the WiFi password and sync it to our phones / tablets.
Great
Only thing left to do is sort a backing surround to cover up the unpainted section of wall.
The Sw looks to be very good indeed, with an easy to use clock program, learning functions, proximity operation etc. Hot water can be set to clock program or automatic. Its got all the usual holiday functions and you can of course remote access to warm the house up before you return.
There are lots of extra functions (e.g. gas monitor) planned for release this year.
Total cost was €200 for the thermostat and €35 for the comms module. We absolutely cane our gas in the winter, so hoping this will pay itself back rather quickly

I bought a NEST that my electrician refused to fit saying it didn't control the water as well. Fair enough, it didn't. He then bought for me the Salus IT500 which doesn't control the water if you have your heating zoned into upstairs and downsatairs which I had to do for building regs . So, the Nest went on EBay ages ago and I'm now stuck with the Salus then I had to buy a Honeywell programmer for the hot water anyway!
I have to say although the Salus controls the heating from the phone the app isn't particularly user friendly. There is only the basic program options. With my old wired thermostat you could advance to the next programme or just put the heating / water on for an hour which I used all the time.
Have to say by the time I had bought the salus, the extra thermostat for the zone heating and a Honeywell programmer for the water it wasn't particularly cheap.
The Bosch one looks nice. I can't read Dutch so can you control the hot water as well with this?
