For a laugh, here's a 'before' picture or two!
And for the record, thank you everyone for the positive comments. I don't do anything any one of you could do, I just push myself as hard as I can, and try not to constrain myself with mental limits of what I'm supposed to be able to do. At the end of the day, if I don't do it, nobody else will, so I push myself to do it, and to learn the skills as I go along, for better and for worse!

True that. Just bought our first house and the number of, " what, you did the <insert task here> yourself?" Comments you get amazes me. Eg electrics. Read about it, get it done. If you encounter something you don't know, stop and get someone in, who will probably just do what you would have done
Bars coming on, managed to fit up and connect all the colour changing LEDs, all controlled by a remote app simultaneously which is cool. Also links to my music library and can flash the lights in time to the music, and various other pointless things!
Powers on upstairs now as well, all lights working, 5 amp lighting circuit done, av wiring complete, ready for carpet!
