Also there are electronic deterrents that only them little buggers can hear,
put one up near the trees they'll soon go.
Think you can get an app that plays that mosquito noise, then hook the phone up to some speakers and hey presto.

anti climb paint on the lower branches. They'll go home blathered and get a bking and won't do it again.

Those high frequency annoyers only work if you have substantial age related hearing loss...

Late evening just go and trim back some of the lower hanging bits? You could start with their ankles, then chop off their knees and keep going until they can't reach the lowest branches!

Damn, I amaze myself at times...

I thought most adults couldn't hear the noise whereas kids could. Something to do with a bone in your ear fusing as you get older or something.

I certainly wouldnt make it clear that you don't like them there as they'll be back even more frequently.

The land will be owned by someone so you could find out who by doing a Land Registry search and you could report it to them on the basis you are worried they might fall and kill themselves and the owner might be liable. However that might mean all the trees are cut down!

The real solution is to put up with it, they'll get bored and go away in due course.

. The misses was about to get one out I stopped her.
I'm not sure flashing a bob would deter the kids, probably more encourage it?

Boys will indeed be boys...

... which is why going round at night with a big tin of anti-climb paint a head torch and massive grin is totally fair play.

As someone else said just go and cut off the lower branches which are enabling them to get up the tree.

One of the dads entered the wood yesterday evening with a ladder and rope.
He's erected a rope swing. I can see this turning into their personal play park.

Thinking about hanging some ropes from the trees of my own with nooses.

Ah he sounds like a man of action....

Maybe you should take a leaf?

Stop posting, fire up the chainsaw, take pics, pour beer, relax.

Cut that swing down tonight under the cover of darkness - take pictures for our amusement. Ideally while drunk.

I remember once as a kid going to play in some woods. There was an odd guy hiding up a tree watching. I never went back.

So, in short, get pissed and hide up the tree.

Why not just cut the lower branches off the trees that you don't want them to climb?

Are you really that worried that the kids are looking at you? They are just climbing trees. Climbing trees is a good thing that the nanny state would love to stop. Leave them alone.

(I would have told the peeing kid's parents though)

Going to be controversial now but why do you think you can do anything?

If it is not your land and they have the legal right to be there, why should you stop them (or have I missed something)? My neighbours have a trampoline and when the kids are on it they can see right into my garden. I am not sure there is a huge difference between these two situations (although not caught them inappropriately weeing....).

I actively encourage kids to be outside climbing stuff as I am not a fan of hours in front of an xbox etc. My summers were often punctuated by the sounds of my son hitting the floor after falling otu of a tree. He is 15 now and not so into climbing.

Just to be clear, I would find it hugely irritating but just accept it is part of life.

If they cause damage to your property or harass you or your family, then just shoot them.

eee...I thought young lads had forgotten the simple pleasures of climbing trees these days.

I thought it was all facetube/Ubook/Playstation and XBox for them now...

I do sympathise with the OP though yes

Nice to see kids out playing instead of being couped up avoiding paedo's and murderers.

The kids Dad sounds like a top chap too.

The OP sounds like a miserable fecker. The kind who used to annoy us when we were kids so we went out of our way to annoy him more. hehe

You can't win this one OP.
