Basically it's two nearly 300yr old stables Mews. We live in one and the other is almost derelict.
The plan is to renovate and convert the derelict one and to remodel the one we are in and then join them together!

To this! I hope

Just started this week and I came home to this!

Will keep you posted if I'm not locked up after going mental!

Some "small" progress

The outer skin on this left hand wall will be rebuilt in stone and is going to be internal in the lounge.

View from inside library, it's big!!

That is going to be fantastic, and well-worth the effort. Do keep the story coming.

That's just the architect filling the space!!
You have kitchen with dining on the right, then main lounge through into library study ( all along the middle) out back is patio area and off the library is media room ( man cave)
Upstairs is 4 bedroom two en suite one with walk in dressing room. All accessed from the glass walkway overlooking the lounge and library.
I'll stick up some 3d rendered drawings from architect tomorrow.

When it comes to finishing it off, you should pop along into Glasgow and see the rest of my family at www.hollijonandphillips.com

Looks like it's going to be a stunning place..
Would it not make sense to allow access to the dressing room for the master bedroom from the landing? To me it seems a more practical flow.
