Hi Guys, I'm Chris - I did the neon sign for Matt's Cabin. If anyone is interested in their own custom neon sign, or any type of neon artwork, please shoot me a private message and I will be in touch as soon as possible. I can take on all kind of projects so if you have an idea you don't know quite how to visualise, or something you think might work in neon but aren't sure, let me know and I will see what I can come up with for you.
Hope you're okay with me leaving this here Matt! All the best.
Chris
Really surprised I have not seen this thread before.
I'm really impressed at how quick you put it together and how good it looks.
I especially like those leather seats. That is genius.
I had an easier option as our house was the estate show home, and the garage was an office for the developer. As we also have a garage on the plot, i claimed it as my man cave.
The only concession is the wife's running machine.
This years man-project was a big screen cinema, for films and footie.
My 1.5 high screen only needed 3.5m distance for the projector.?
I reckon that you have the room for in there for it.

That screen looks mahoosive! I'd rather have that in the house! Swmbo loves big TVs etc so she'll be up for that!
Didn't go for a wood burner as they require a bit of time to get going and you need to spend quite a while in there to make the most of it- we run a restaurant so have odd hours so it's nice to just pop in and out between dog walks/work/car hoons etc. It gets really hot in there with some bodies in it- especially with wii dance so it's easy to just turn them off and open the windows.
A job for next year will be clearing out the excess wood and ladders etc from the garage and building a lean to round the back plus an outdoor BBQ area on the decking.
Cheers!

Black Cup,
the cabin looks superb. just wondered what your experiences have been over the very wet winter?
Has condensation been an issue inside? Has it remained weather tight?
Considering a similar build and just looking for some thoughts on how the use has gone for you, over the winter.
TIA.
