Here's my log cabin, I have finally finished sanding and shellacking the main area.

No outside pics as it's late here.

Doesn't seem like long ago I was following your house build thread KH.

Some big changes for you lately, hope it's all working out.
Everything seems to have gone to hell in a handbag the last year or two. frown

I just want a quiet life now. Quiet and peaceful, no dramas, no adventures...

Are you alluding to the collapse of the oil industry? We've been waiting on the upturn for too long. I'm in the same mind as you. Quiet life, no drama. Once I got my head round that, life's been a lot less stressful.

No, I retired from the oil patch 18 months ago.

I'm on about personal stuff, wife, daughter, issues, where we lived etc. Retirement was not all it has been cracked up to be...... frown

Garage doors were replaced and are now green to match the cabin.

The locations and building architecture on here is amazing! No wonder people are so proud (I would be too)

I do like my Garden, I like to spend as much time outside as possible hence the effort with getting it done.

The reason to share is this could be any 3 bed semi detached house....just a little bit of work, well actually a lot I worked out id moved 37 tonnes of earth of soil, stone, hardcore, slabs and plants into the back garden on my own and its a miracle I didn't injure myself. Although the fire burning the old stuff was epic in itself biggrin

Thank you very much. I've put many hours into it. I sanded that entire deck and stained it not long after that pic. I'll try and post some better pics next weekend.

The sunrise is spectacular.

Smoke on the mountains, hence Smoky Mountains.
