The locations and building archeticture on here is amazing! No wonder people are so proud (I would be too)

I do like my Garden, I like to spend as much time outside as possible hence the effort with getting it done.

The reason to share is this could be any 3 bed semi detached house....just a little bit of work, well actually a lot I worked out id moved 37 tonnes of earth of soil, stone, hardcore, slabs and plants into the back garden on my own and its a miracle I didn't injury myself. Although the fire burning the old stuff was epic in itself biggrin

That looks like a professional make over, great job.
the steps bottom right look lethal in the dark!!
Where is that striped lounger/hammock bed from?

Its never dark with the lights on, just a nice glow, 1watt LED's in the wall and 5watt uplights in the flower beds. I think I barely use the steps , It just didnt look right without one when I did it.

I bought that about 6yrs ago now, so they last first of all but that company has stopped making them.. However I have replaced the material for the hammock bit and cushions to the stripped material, as I wanted a bit of colour. Its designed for 2 people by the way but I have had more in it.

This one below appears to be identical in size and everything, I just treat the wood once a year. Cant believe how much cheaper they are now

So many of you have very obvious pride in your homes, that's such a good thing; life affirming, almost.

Me? I envy anyone, who, regardless of the physical property, genuinely loves their home.

Fairly typical Edwardian house in Toronto...mines the one with Blue paint work.

It was re furburbed(cheaply) in the 80's, so I am currently going through it, restoring some of the period details the previous owners removed:

Fireplace
Crown moldings
newel posts/balustrades
New 'old' front door
Replaced all hollow core interior doors with period solid 6 panel shaker style doors.

Also completed the below
New kitchen
New Bathroom
Re decked the front porch
Rebuilt the garage
remodelled the garden with patio and beds
Replaced all light fittings

Also saves on having to 'phone up Google to have it removed from Streetview.

I tend to let the top area grow (about an acre) as I get long grasses and wild flowers come through. Plus, it's a pain to mow. smile

Come on, where are all the fking council houses and 2up-2downs? We can't all be living in massive townhouses, impeccably refurbished barns, and country piles can we?

There you go 2 up 2 down, mine's the one on the right with the black door. It's only small but I love it and realistically wouldn't want to live anywhere else for the time being.
