They polish turds exceptionally well.

I think they do a good job (considering using them).

At the end if the day (I hate it when people say that) if the house has good proportions and a good plot, why is it a turd?

I think they do an exceptionally good job.

I'll rephrase. They take houses of a certain period that are currently deeply unfashionable and make them stunning and contemporary.

I agree on 60s/70s house value potential. The more estates full of crappy tall thin houses with 10 foot gardens get built the more demand there will be for decent house design with good plot size. There's no new supply of those things so the existing stock will become more sought after.

Changed a bit since Google took that. Front door is now black with chrome furniture, crappy plastic outside light has been replaced with a stainless up & down lighter, and the front garden has been remodelled.

Oh, and the rosemary bush which you can just about make out in front of the electricity meter box is no up to the cloakroom window!

Note to self: Need to murder the little git this winter!

hehe

Rural central belt Scotland.

Near enough to civilisation to buy stuff at a moments notice. Far enough away that we can't see anyone else and can pick visitors off when they come up the drive.
