Oyt of interest, how much could you expect to make from a film location company? scratchchin
Around £250 per day. Probably not worth the hassle for a one day job, especially if you have to lose a days work for it. But you could easily pick up a grand a week for more involved stuff.

Can believe how many central Scotland posters I've never seen in the Scottish section of the forum - you do know there is one? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&a...

Mine on the left:

It's got very old subsidence but it's not quite as bad as it looks in that pic!
You stay just a few streets away from me!

Ah yes. I recognise the house. My friend lived in Struan Gardens when we were growing up and I spent most of my childhood round his house!

There are some simply breathtaking properties on this thread, wow !

I'll avoid posting our place, a simple 2 bed detached bungalow in the cotswolds that we are renting !!

I'd love a property like some of those in here.... one day smile

Is that really Dalziel Drive? I don't recognise it. (Could be my memory playing tricks)

Thanks, I like it. Bit small, but I decided on location over size of property, can't wait until I can have both! smile

Course it's friendly, I live here!

There's barely any crime, it's very quiet, a great pub five minutes walk away and very very dark at night which I like.

Pub Walking Distance Time (PWDT) should be mandatory in all estate agent listings.

I've always said what ever house I buy, must be walking/staggering distance to a pub. Not just for the beer, well ok, for the beer. But, if you can't be arsed to cook, or you're out of booze. What about if there is a power cut, cellars keep beer cold, not fridges.

Hmmm. I guess since I am almost 5 miles to the nearest shop and a wee bit further to the nearest pub I should really buy a large cool box and store some food rations about the place smile

I'm one mile by car or half a mile by boat. Luckily there isn't a don't drink and float law. smile
