I'm one mile by car or half a mile by boat. Luckily there isn't a don't drink and float law. smile
Until you collapse on the boat and fall into the lake/river/sea.

Anyway, sounds rubbish. Not jealous of getting a boat to the pub at all. whistle

Absolutely.

My closest is 3.5 minutes, and all 4 of my favourite boozers under 10 minutes.

Living in a town centre I'm spoilt for pubs. I can get to any of 10 in under 10 minutes. I also have restaurants about too.

I imagine the next house will be out of town a bit, but it'll be in a village with a pub. Maybe even 2 pubs, you know, for redundancy.

That was part of the reason for choosing here.

You stay just a few streets away from me!
Have you been along to the curry nights? Do you know PaulQV?
I met him a few years back at the dakota hotel, i had a black 996 Turbo at that point. I keep meaning to get along to one of the curry nights but work always gets in the way! I'll get along one of these days

I stay just off Glenhead drive, used to stay in Guthrie Court though and Manse Road before that.

Looks like you might have some underpinning to do.

Is that in Leighton Buzzard? Looks familiar (if it's not there are a couple of places like that in LB).

No underpinning required just the stonework on the bay has failed so replacement is on order.

I suspect the woeful attempt at window fitting is the major cause.

Bit of first floor weeding to do as well laugh

I was looking more at the shape of the window aperture, but I suppose that could just be the photo.
