I posted on page 2, but I love the eerie look of the morning mist over the meadow.

Someones a Browncoat. smile

I have the same travel posters, haven't got them up yet, but in the next house I think they make a nice alternative to what you normally see.

A pic from when we bought it. Tree is now gone and hedge cut back. Back garden is better than front! Will post pics if anyone likes gardens?

Wow! Some transformation there! did you knock it all down and start again, or maintain the original footprint and add the 1st floor, extra garage, etc.?
Did I miss a build thread? wink

The initial plan plan was to utilise as much of the original as possible but, once the work started, it was clear that we couldn't salvage much so all that is left is about threequarters of the exterior walls.

I had meant to do a build thread but time sort of ran away with me - plus my PC crashed and I lost a huge chunk of my photographs although I have managed to recover a fair amount so, if anyone is interested, I'll put one up. In the meantime, here's one of inside as we were ripping the floor up!

Seconded!

Excavator, crapper and coffee mug all in one pic. It will be a corker!

What can I say - I like my comforts! :-)

OK, since there seems to be interest - I'll get cracking - might be a few days though!

My modest house in leytonstone which we moved into a month ago.

Moved from a funky warehouse conversion in bow, so quite a change.

Unfortunately not but there was a 'Homes under the Hammer' episode made featuring the build.

This is me. Early 18C Kentish farmhouse with a Victorian section built on the back, so it looks totally different from the front and the back.

No garage (yet) is the only problem.
