God that's upsetting. Gorgeous place but that would be £600k+ (if not more) in South Herts. frown

Bloody hell it is indeed! I'm impressed and a little frightened all at the same time!
Don't worry, the fact that I used to deliver papers to your house for several years helped. Quite a recognisable place although strangely it was the fence in front which looked most familiar!

The rather modest pile of bricks and mortar I call home looks a little like this (amateur attempt with Google Sketchup). The additional parking space at the front is an idea which hasn't materialised yet. In fact it won't now, as we're planning on moving and upsizing next year, all being well.

In my imagination the vertical wall by the 'extra parking' is a doorway leading to a huge underground car park and workshop.

What an interesting looking house. thumbup
Is that all original or is it a mish-mash of additions over the years?
Whats going on towards the right below the roof where it looks a completely different colour to the rest of the house?

The only picture I could find on the net of my P&J (the right-hand side of the two).

Planning a double storey side extension next year hopefully turning it from a 2 bed to a 4 bed...the main downside is the lack of off-road parking.

It's all original, built in the very early 1900s. I hadn't noticed the different colour before, but it's where the render has aged differently, I think because it's covered by the roof overhang there. It's not as obvious as it looks in that picture.

The cost of land was next to nothing when I bought up here, and it was only the arrival of broadband that meant I could live here full time. So I built this:

During

Finished

Location

...when I say built, I mean I designed it and then stood around like a spare part whilst others built it.
