Sorry… missed the irony. Didn't think it an unreasonable request.

Our house we bought last October. Bought it for the inbuilt double garage.

Looks like where I used to live in west London.

Our drafty place. Boiling hot in 2 rooms and freezing everywhere else in the winter. Hoping the barn conversion is habitable by Christmas.

That looks bleak.

It is a little bleak in winter, but we love it and have an uninterrupted view over the fields. Pictures of it in the summer are much better. Plus a 2 acre field to mess around in cars when dry. It is very much a work in progress and the main house pictured will be the last of 4 buildings that we will renovate/re-purpose.

Well I'm glad you posted it, I read it through , showed it to Mrs 2.5pi and duly killed stone dead her batst crazy idea of building a "dream home"

I'll live a longer and more prosperous life so thank you!

Bit harsh.
Massive potential is a bit more like it IMO.

Thank you. It does have massive potential that we are slowly converting. In the end it will consist of a 4 bedroom barn conversion, 2 bed and 1 bed barn conversion and finally the main house that is the biggest will be a 2 bed house so no freeloaders coming to stay!

This is the barn that we are currently doing.
