There's a reason why there are no details... can anyone guess?
Thatcher or Abramovitch?

This:

is this:

http://app.ft.com/cms/s/cceecbb6-cc04-11e5-be0b-b7...

I think.

Might explain the lack of pictures - although would it have a tenant in it?

The project isn't listed on the developer's website which is also rather odd.

Telegraph article says it's leasehold, ad says it's freehold, must have cost a bit to buy out the lease.

Looking on streetview on the rightmove ad, does the copper carrying the MP5 standing on the doorstep come with the purchase of the house?

Photo 13 really does it for me. If only I had a bit (alot) more money and it was a bit closer to, well, civilisation.....

14,000 sq ft, 18 acres, a Bronze Age Motte and Bailey castle and an amphitheatre.

Few more photos in the virtual tour.

At that price it simply won't sell, in fact even if it were half they would be in for a very long wait I think.

There is a one up in Ayton Firs at the minute which is really nice.

Also a nice one on church lane in Nunthorpe.

Jesus. That is the same price as a 6 bed Victorian semi-detached house in my area. And my area is cheap for Zone 3 SW London - we deliberately bought our house here because it is cheaper than W.Dulwich on one side and Balham/Clapham on the other.

http://www.primelocation.com/for-sale/details/3916...

London is stupid.

But then commuting from N Yorkshire would be a bit of a pain.

I wouldn't be able to get past the fauxness though.

Much rather buy the real thing and spend 2.5m sorting it.
