Quite far from "pawn" I know, but I'd love to have the money to throw at this and make it my own.

I agree. I'd love to renovate something like that.
That seems very cheap for what could be made into something very special. Is it the gradeII listed status that has pushed the price down, or is there an enormous abattoir next door I don’t know about?
Full renovation of that, as a Grade II house? £1m if you include stuff like doing the grounds, driveway etc. And it will take years (both to do, and off your life). That's why it's cheap.

Gorgeous though. Wish I had the time and money - Suffolk would be great for an out of London place.

That is a money pit of titanic proportions. Grade 2 means you will have to fight to make it fit for the 21st century. I hope someone does renovate it.
Or it "accidently" burns down, and 10 ugly lego houses get built on it instead

I see they have now ditched the original photos...probably for the best. Although the tramp sat on the single chair of doom in the back garden isn't really much better.

35 spaces, apparently!

Looks like their wine cellar can store more bottles than your local Tesco, too ....

Land, multiple accommodation options and not that expensive for what they are.

That first one is an absolute stunner.
The entrance/hallway flooring is just beautiful.

Considering some I have posted recently, this represents good value - though a bit "lego-y"

http://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/house,land_ty...

Features include in-law suite, a Porte-Cochere (no idea - I could google it!!) but no pool!!

It's absolutely incredible, an amazing building, but whilst I love big houses as much as the next oligarch, if I was sitting in that thing and then an Oxfam advert came on the TV I think I would feel a little bit sick with myself. Perhaps a touch obscene as a single residence.

Sky Q then .... and fast fwd through the adverts!!

What disappoints me is the American real estate sites do not show floor plans.

Really!? If I'd earned the ability to purchase that place nothing could ever guilt trip me into regret.
I'd feel bad if I wasn't running an animal charity, mind. But then, I wouldn't feel bad, because I will be running an animal charity when I have that much money...!
