So where is the 60 acres of parkland it comes with then?
To the North, mostly.

Wow, that's superb. The house proportions, are in my opinion, perfect. Large enough so you get the feeling of space every where, so you have enough rooms for everything to go, but without being over the top or a money pit in terms of maintenance, cleaning and so on. The character of the property and the land included just adds another dimension.

Edit: Has it literally just gone to 'Sold STC'?
Whoever buys it will be living here in the near future.

Which is a real shame.

Blimey I wonder how long until the buyers realise and that SOLD STC goes back to ON SALE.
isn't this a material item that should be declared on the property details?
Not necessarily. You do have to dictate known planning permissions on the forms after you accept an offer though. Any solicitor would also find it but I doubt anyone would put it on their advert!
Live quite close to that, it's really quite close to the M6, magna park is up the road which has planning in for an extension, then there are the 100s of lorries passing every day from the M6 to the M1, Ok I'd rather live there than Drugby but there are far nicer places to live in Lutterworth.

I actually looked at buying a house not 100m from it as a BTL (mrs nagging me to sell my house and move in with her permanently in Lutterworth) but the road noise put me right off, I'd imagine at night you couldn't sleep with the windows open.

That's an old photo. That has all been demolished and replaced by 4 £1m+ eco houses like this.

The photos on Rightmove include a map which still shows the "works" building. A bit daft of them to fail to use up-to-date images, surely?

The maps just aren't updated. The plans were put forward almost 10 years ago - http://centralbeds.moderngov.co.uk/documents/s1066...

Houses are all sold now, at least they are no longer on the market.- http://www.thewoodsbyultrabox.com/ (aaaaah Vienna)

Very long 700m driveway that splits two ways.

Shared drive then

Imagine meeting "mummy" on a school run in her blacked out diesel Q7

If you switch to satellite view on the property listing it shows the dirty little secrete

Which is this..

https://www.cala.co.uk/homes-for-sale/midlands/cot...

Nevermind the M6, magna park, the camp, the congestion the link from the m6/m1/a5 is single carriageway..

Still it's a lovely house.

I drive past that place on my commute each day. There are two entrances to the site, the tree lined avenue featured on the plan, and another road (with a grand gated entrance) nearer the A5 which is visible on the satellite image, but not shown on the site plan. Perhaps the 'manor' house will have a private entrance?

Both houses are on the A5 and my first reply was the other one. It would make sense to use the one that goes through the 69 acres of parkland that approaches the front of the house, rather than coming in to the rear like tradesmen.

It's gonna be lovely when thew whole estate of houses think it's their private parkland and someone walks past your manor with their dog on a sunday morning, tipping the hat to you while you're eating your toast. Imagine keeping the kids off it.

You'd be insane to buy it.

Have we had this hilarity yet?

http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/42921724

855 grand for a 3 bed semi in Hammersmith and, er, well, it's 7 foot wide.

That is mental!

But some quite good uses of space inside to be honest.

92m2 isn't actually horrendously tiny - just each room is really thin.

That is a very nice scheme and it is good to see that developers can very occasionally do some really good stuff. I see that they are serious petrolheads as well. Impressive. I was looking for some inspiration for a couple of sites I have scratchchin
