I'm intrigued why a quarry would protect it from erosion. Looks pretty solid granite below, but it's not far down the coast from that place in Torquay which was falling into the sea: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2303412/Wh...
I'm schadenfreuding the st out of that story
No granite under the fallen down one, next houses in the street going soon...

The owner is also being billed by the council for them demolishing the little which was left, big crane for 2 weeks included. She's having a bad year...

I quite like this one which is near where my in-laws live.

And it has the perfect garage/workshop area for a PHer:

From the outside it looks rather like a second world war institution for the mildly insane, somewhere inaccessible on the Hampshire/Surrey borders frown

It just screams Americana.

Of often think of US design: if they just stopped when they were 80% through adding features, it would be fine. Just because they can, doesn't mean they should.

This is a rather handsome ol' building although I am a sucker for period properties.....

An equestrian facility that hasn't seen a horse in years!

I just checked (mod tools I have). The one above with the links is the only other one you've posted on here recently, have you checked down the back of the sofa?

I put in 4 links... L100NYY has quoted me on 2 of them put in this morning, then my original post has gone.

If it has no record then how was L100NYY able to quote me in the first place.

I have looked and its not in the sofa... just strange its gone (not deleted by me) or I can't see it, or the hamsters ate it.

Rather than the £10M+ ones that only a few could afford.

The average of those is well over a million. Not what I'd call cheap.

For the style and type of properties they seem cheap.

Do bear in mind the title of this thread is "real estate porn" not "a nice house I could just about afford if I squeezed the mortgage a little" biglaugh
