What circa £2m buys you in Glasgow. The old Park Circus registry office. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
Holy moly! Loving that.
Seriously? What you going to do with it, start an art gallery or museum. It's gloomy and depressing in my opinion.

Gloomy it may be (though easily sorted with a bit of lighting), but depressing? What can I say, it floats my boat.

And to answer your question, I'd live in it. I certainly wouldn't 'renovate' it, other than perhaps rip some of those carpets out and replace with proper wooden floors.

Here you go: http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/31465015

Covered storage for 9 cars and paring for a further 30. Only 3 bedrooms, but plenty of scope with the annex and two offices....

Have a look at the virtual tour.

Nice one Andy, beautiful gardens and some real period character in the house although the house is on the small size and I'm not sure how I would integrate use of the barn. On a different note, I get annoyed with estate agents who are going to make huge profits by selling properties like these and can't be bothered to show the dimensions of the car port or outbuildings on the plans, sheer laziness on their part. Looks like it's got a 9 bay car-port but I guess you could have a carpenter fit some oak doors to convert it into a garage. Are you looking? wink

Nice little cosy pad. 40 bedrooms anyone? That is a lot of property for £1.2 million...but the redecoration might be a bit pricey!

I love the pic of the grand billiard room with a manky 1980's pub pool table in it.

Is the current owning running a second hand car business from the property?
