I believe it's Hilary Deveys place, (Cruella De Vil type character from Dragons Den fame)
yeah it was on 'through the keyhole'. I think Keith Lemon probably took a st in the bathroom.

I like this from my neck of the woods.

Nothing spectacular just a really nice house in a real nice setting.

Close to Epping Forest, close to Chingford Station, backs on to a golf course. Perfik.

One of your neighbours would be Teddy Sheringham.

Amazing to think that in certain parts £2.5M doesn't get you anything spectacular these days.

But the front garden is sufficiently secluded that you couldn't see the monstrosity of a house that he built! It truly is hideous. And has the most corny name!

And yes, it would need a lick of paint in some areas.

And yes, that would buy you a castle and several mountains in some parts.........mostly ooop norf.

I rather like it though.

Oh dear, just street viewed it, out of the rightmove house turn right and two houses down on the opposite side of the road is a grey block called "Camp Nou"

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

That will be the one. Awful isn't it.

Ghastly interior too from what I understand.

As for value, this is the sort of stuff advertised for £700K. Made worse by the additional photos in the ad. Were those taken by someone with serious arthritis on their phone?

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Or talking of 50's style, this for £700K as well

It makes the one with the garages look cheap!

This has been on and off the market for years -

I am pretty confident at one point, it was offers over 4+ million

In the Scottish system, offers over the £1.95 would make it, what, in the region of £2.4-2.6m?

According to propertybee it was listed in 2011 for offers over £2,750,000.

Hell of a drop either way.

I think in the current market (outside of hotspots) a lot of the pricing is dictated by the home report value. Even then, I recently bought a house and got it at under the offers over price.
