I have no idea what they were thinking on most of the internals of that house, they have a fantastic building and it just a bit boring inside and that master bedroom is tiny at only 2 and a bit metres wide, I would have used the whole floor, why the second kitchen in the basement when its only a tiny sitting room above it, which looks like its probably a hallway.

Somebody was not thinking when designing the lower floors at all.

One of us must be looking at a different plan. The main bedroom is 3.51m wide on the one I see. (27'9" x 11'6")
Was too early and before coffee, was talking about this one on the post above.

Quite like that.

However, who's idea is it to have a toilet open to the bedroom? One of the rooms has it almost facing the bed. If you need to drop the kids off in the middle of the night what is you partner supposed to do?

Would be a nice holiday home, but unlike the size of the rooms or stairs up that those above have problems with, I have an issue with the top floor balcony, big balcony can tempt many people and wood has a habit of rotting. It'd just worry me.

Ah right yes... wobble

And another thing, fancy sticking a great big chimney on a mansion house in London!

This ticks all my boxes. Few acres, lots of outbuildings, an annexe for the babysitters parents and a staff/guest cottage. Close to a village but not overlooked, good transport links.

Even has a rifle range.

Listed (so a nightmare to update) but needs updating. Updating it will cost half as much again.

Don't look at the satellite view as the land it has is tiny...

This is cheaper.

This a little more.

I know that I would rather have both of them than the water tower for that price.

That's the thing - it hasn't been 'WAGged' to within an inch of it's life like a lot of properties in the area.
Nicer furniture, decorating and some of the carpets replaced would do me - I don't need a big name kitchen, a pool, bar or a cinema room.

The thatched cottage is a tiny 1367sq ft, the Tower is larger at 2034 sq ft. They are almost exactly the same £ p/sq ft.

It's so she doesn't miss Coronation street when sitting on her hubby time.

Not exactly in the same league though are they? It's a couple of generic cliches versus something completely unique.
