Only 15A, the minor house. I'd want 15 if I were a passing billionaire looking for a rumpy pad for my mistress.

They do say "buy the worst house in the best street".

Apparently.

You can get a bit more privacy here. But you get a third of the holes and it costs eight times as much!

No floor plan? Would not buy.
Click the "Floor Plan" tab.

I wonder if those glass doors open and close with a Star Trek whoosh?
I like that, I wonder who owns it, or is it dressed to sell by the developer? And whoever it is, do they really need sixteen toilets? That is not including the cottage!

hehe Have you not heard of exaggeration for comedic effect? But seriously, that is not a challenging course by any stretch of the imagination, the reason I mentioned a SW is because I am 99.9999999% sure that when I played that "course" they insisted you walk with a full bag when all it is is a glorified pitch and putt. And then if you read the vendors description, it reinforces the laughable view that it is in any way, shape, or form, a challenging course...
A full bag has never been a condition a condition of play there.

When I was a kid, before I had clubs, I used to hire a set there. You were either given 'odds' 3 iron, 5 iron etc, or evens, 4 iron 6 iron etc. Occasionally you'd get a set with a wood in it. It was with that set we'd try to clear the 6th clear and trees at the back to see if we could hit it into the field. smile

I was never given a full set and as I got older and better I used to take my own clubs and only carry 4 or 5 including putter.

As for challenging, well maybe you are just that good eh? I take it you regularly shot par or better there? wink

I played there once with some old colleagues - apologies if I sound like a snob but it really isn't a proper course. The final straw for me was a group of old people who wouldn't let us play through and started getting snooty with us stating it should be a members only course hehe

A few Yorkshire residences

A rather nice one near Harrogate http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

this one is good, even though you get a lot of air traffic from Linton

Further proof that being a vicar back in the day was a pretty good gig

3551 square foot country retreat for around £1m with a separate 3 bedroom cottage. Looks decent vfm considering its rural SE location.

I live quite near the area.
Still not sure if it's pronounced Warninglid or Warninglie. Even the residents use both!

There's a few like that near me; Bisham is pronounced Bis'am but since the BBC started calling it Bish'ham when referring to the abbey, sports centre, roundabout etc. that's what everyone calls it. Also Medmenham pronounced Meden'am (to rhyme with Remenham on the other side of the river).
