Thread related; a client of mine placed an order a few months ago for some bespoke furniture and I got the delivery address through today -Windlesham Court, Surrey - not sure which property it is yet but I'm hoping it's the fabled Updown Court as I would quite like a look round it.

nope, Updown Court isn't on Windlesham Court here - https://www.google.com/maps/place/Windlesham+Ct,+S...

Go southeast from there and it's on the B386 Chertsey Road.

I see; it was one of the only few results I could see from a quick google. Don't think it's the £20m new build either as the stuff they've ordered is classic, but then what was there may have been a ripout and start again job - wouldn't be the first time.

More specifically JAYB, (and I realise this wouldn't be immediately obvious from a Learjet) but that part of Wales is something of a accumulation point for scousers and brummies who find themselves displaced from their estate due to domestic or gang-related difficulties, and subsequently... (deep breath) breed.
Aren't you thinking of Rhyl? Welshpool is more likely to attract Brummies.

I'm genuinely amazed - an asking if almost five million pounds for a terraced house in sands end. It's not even in pretty or nice bit, and that junction 100m away on new kings road is bad. Faces a busy bit of road as well with buses passing constantly. Cool garage mind you.

When I saw that, I was surprised that it cost 'only' 2.9 million. Very close neighbours though but lovely views.

It's awful isn't it. The ceilings are very low too given the supposed grandeur of the place - sweeping stairs and a 7'6" ceiling height laugh

Could live in:

Seems to have the sports centre behind it, I'd have to visit before I made a decision I guess...

Still doesn't beat my current favourite locally though, which I may have mentioned before:

Quite near me- http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

It is all spectacular, especially the kitchen area and that conservatory (which is bigger than a lot of flats)

25 flats for £2 million anyone?

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

If I had the money that would be one of the safest buy-to-let investments I could imagine, to get 25 flats bringing in almost £170k a year in rent.
