You'd never get bored of opening the curtains in the morning to that. Goes off to Google the area.

He'll have a price next week if anyone is interested. I'm guessing £330k ish
Speculative build presumably?
Yep. He's built 4 - each one funding the next. There's no garage with this, but room for one - or 3+ cars

On another note, this is up for sale not a milion miles from me - I remember walking through the woods its situated in and it actually being a disused Cold War Bunker, exactly as you would imagine one would look, like something off 28 Days later.

I also rememeber my old boss buying this to turn into a Spa, but the local residents of Keston Park objected quite strongly so it never went ahead. (Ironically his Chairman lived there and also objected!) I think he paid £21m for it in about '98, caught a cold on it, sold that, his incredibly successful business and then lost the lot buying Crystal Palace football club as he'd wanted it since he was a boy. Nice chap though, still see him around.

My thought was surely that wreaks havoc with the humidity throughout the house?

That 2nd one, isn't that the one they ruined by building a couple of new build estates a few feet away? Was on here a while ago.

Holwood Place I think - nice houses and not cheap, certainly £1m each+

Still having a 10m house you wouldn't want the peasants sharing their driveway with you, which they do.

Looks great when you fly over it though from Biggin though, the houses are a 240 degree circle in the woods.

Normally I'm quite traditional with my property preferences, but if I win euromillions tonight, this would be very tempting as a bolt hole by the sea.

Outlook is great, nearest train station over 35 miles away! Can't be many places in UK that are that far away from nearest station. Now that I've said that I'll probably notice lots! Most of Scotland for starters!

I really like that. With 4 acres of grounds I'm sure it would be possible to construct a barn-like garage somewhere on the estate.

There is an additional building with 2 garage bays shown on the pdf brochure.

Yes, from the Million Pound properties thread.

Watched the one last night with the founder of Poundland and his "considerably richer than yow" brummie wife. Appallingly tacky interior of their current place Hammer Hill House - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

They went to look at the lovely Caverswall Castle - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Unsurprisingly she didn't like it. Then they went and looked at a modern, white, bland Wentworth-style house and liked it.
