Don't think it's been given on an previous listings. Just guesses, between £3.2m and £3.6m going on position on rightmove listings.

2013 Zoopla says POA too - http://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-history/243a-fore...
That is absolutely gopping.
If I were in the £1million + market I wouldn't consider that for a second.
It couldn't have any less character if it tried. In fact, I think it has minus character.
The painting on one of the walls says it all about the type of buyer.

Was it ever lived in ? I was trying to put my finger on why it felt so impersonal - no curtains are fitted.

You mean you don't have a portrait of yourself over the fire ?

You get a real sense of how soulless it is in the video.

Would need some work, the sitting room is rather small. I guess you could knock the family room and sitting room together but there'd be a danger of spoiling the symmetry of the rooms. The dining room/area is a bit of a corridor which I dislike in buildings. It should be a decent sized room in which to socialise with the whole family not just an afterthought. I'd could use bedroom 6 as a study and I'd move the the master bedroom's bathroom into bedroom 5 and make the existing en-suite a dressing room. The garage is ok but would need a significant extension assuming there's room. Having said all that it's a good starting point for a nice house. Get it for £950k and chuck a couple of hundred at it.

My wife's uncles house has been for sale for years and is significantly less, and is significantly nicer.

Needs more carefully positioned champagne, displayed shoeboxes and I swear there's room for some visible receipts amid the sunglasses, ties and watches.

Did Enfield pay him considerable royalties?

I love the porte-cochere that is nowhere near the front entrance. Baffling.

Just a couple of questions on that house;
When does a couple of cheap fitness machines from Argos make a leisure complex?
Why aren't the stone lintels on the lower windows replicated on the top ones?
Those staircase spindles make me chuckle.biggrin
It would make a lovely care home! smile

Tonker. Reading between the lines i have always assumed you are a partner at a big law firm. Whatever your profit share is, please quit and become an estate agent. I swear you will triple your annual take!!

You get the sense that even the agent knows it's just awful and is going to take a miracle to sell to anyone other than an Asian family who win the Euro millions.

It is difficult to imagine a amore soulless place.
