Bit of an unusual one for up this way http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

It looks a little bit too like a Holiday Inn for my liking but looks a decent spec modern house and is a nice contrast to the usual sandstone villas in the area.
That does just look like a converted hotel. Horrible from the outside.
Yep ghastly...

Whilst I agree that the entrance looks like the Linton Travel Tavern the rest of it is actually OK in a "not to my taste but its not nasty" kind of way
Countryside looks lovely too

Exactly what I was going to say, would be interesting to see the planning application and see if it did actually start out as a hotel build that had to be changed midway though.

Yet another one of these agents that want to sell a property for £2.5m and can;t be bothered to put a scalable floor plan on the web site laugh

The description says it was designed and commissioned by the current owner so amazingly it seems someone actually wanted it to look like that.

Bit of an odd layout on this one but it's a nice location next to the water and it's within the grounds of Hopetoun House. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
