The Beckhams looked at buying that place at 27M pounds last year. It's been on the market since 2014.

Yeah that will do.

All those farm building will have to be turned into a garage and I want an indoor pool but otherwise great.

At least it has a floor plan biggrin

So, lets see. Garage + £5000 conversion = £350,000

The house at the other end of the terrace still has its garage as a garage.

Lovely.

But a question that I often think about with a house of this style & size.

Come Sunday afternoon, you're slightly hungover from the ball the evening before, you've stuffed yourself on the Sunday lunch provided by the hired help & you now want to chill out on the sofa, in a cosy little room and watch the latest episode of The Walking Dead on the TV...... where do you do this?

Just outside the village I used to live in, I've been to a couple of gatherings here and it's more impressive in reality.
Pretty much perfect for me apart from the lack of garaging (only a double IIRC), might have to butcher the staff accommodation to get the collection in.
