Compared to the standard of the photographs that are on Rightmove, the swedish ones are out of this world.

Least someone knows how to do a damn good job.

Dan! Dan!

Somebody spent a fortune on that house in 1987 and not a penny since. Even the gym kit is from a local authority leisure centre bidding for BS 5750.

I have a feeling that place in Winchester used to have a caravan / camping site next door. I wonder whether it was some sort of facilities building for that which is now being sold off on its own.

That is pretty bad, who has a disco-dance floor, and a globe on their dining room table confused

And I realise that we are getting used to 7 figure prices on here but who pays £2.5m for a boudoir like that hurl

In Alresford/Winch, that money doesn't go very far. Considering the plot size that seems very cheap (which suggests another catch IMO).

Plenty of parking but dated inside and a strange use of some of the rooms:

You know if people actually say what and where the house is instead of just posting an un-searchable link it can then be searched and you wouldn't repost a house that is on the same page and has been discussed at length.

You are probably right but when a house is up for 10x the national average on a prawn thread I'm at least looking for something that I prefer to my own (not 7 figure) gaff.

I know 20 mil is still 20 mil, but that Regent's Park place actually looks like quite a good buy.

Location, location, location.

Like the negotiation that went on close by- this was a buyer who just HAD to get a deal!

Remember it is also Leasehold (Crown Estate).

I doubt the owner will care about the service charge mind (you have to repaint building outside every 5 years (was 4, but been changed as paint has improved).

Might it not have been an FX deal? I prefer your idea though!

I like that too, but the pic of the pool (number 13) had me confused; I thought it was made of glass and empty until I realised it was a reflection. D-uh.

Quite. Not quite my cup of tea but at that price point I suppose you'd afford new wallpapers. And 74 acres isn't to be sniffed at. Living in central London is overrated!

A mate's house now on the market post-divorce. Have had many a BBQ/party inside and outside. Very nice and now more reasonably priced at £2.5M.

A very poor selection of pictures - really don't portray size/space/features at all...

I'm sure it is very lovely. It even seems like good value compared with many others posted here.

The agency's approach to online marketing seems stuck in the early noughties, mind. Far too much prose and woeful images. They have a DSLR. In other listings it is evident they even have a tripod and a flashgun but evidently they don't know how to use them. Scandalous that some agencies get away with five figure commissions and neither they nor (it would seem) their clients are prepared to spend some money on training and/or employing pro photographers.

And long may it continue. <smiley face>
