not sure about 1.9 - but that's the price you pay for living in the SE I guess frown
No sorry, can't see a single redeeming feature. Is Billericky a nice place to live?
Bit weird isn't it? Odd shaped rooms, disproportionate. Huge 'hall way', odd 'conservatory (does that really have a flat glass roof?

This is about 60 seconds from my house, and I never knew it was there until I went past this morning - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

After looking into the history of it, turns out it is being sold by the family that, in a roundabout way, founded the business I now work for - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stumperlowe_Hall

Not sure this counts as prawn unless you have an interest in steam trains.

A house with it's own rail line and full-sized steam engine:

I'm guessing the inspiration for the home cinema was a flight in economy class.

If I could, I would. I love that. I'm not keen on the decor, but I guess most of it would go?

I used to play in that house as a kid, and before much of the land was sold of to develops. Fantastic place.

The Kenning family sold it to the Cam's in the 70's iirc.

I don't know the area at all, but surely this is ludicrously mis-priced?

A favourite haunt of millionaire footballers from Liverpool and Everton. Does seem a bit steep though.

When you see what you can get in the area for 10% of that it makes you wonder where they plucked the price from.

Raheem Sterling is at city, Stevie G is stateside that only leaves the new Everton manager I think.

there's been quite a lot in the press of late about really big mansions being built around Formby, and those are the type of prices mentioned, so it probably isn't a mistake. It amazes me, having grown up in southport (just down the road) and knowing full well what a rough place formby centre is, and how likely you are to get home invaded by organised scousers with weaponry. For some reason the prices in southport are a fraction of these.

I think that's rather charming. Nice, simple house, with potential to make it special.

That one actually annoys me in its utter banality. And then, asking 12.5million quid made me laugh like a drain.

Probably banking on either team buying a big name over the summer.

Sterling's is still on the market for a 10th of that price.
