I live very close to there. Walk past it frequently, beautiful short row of georgian houses, but the road is not pleasant and very busy. If you want to live around there in a period house, you want to keep walking and turn left and cut onto Tredegar Square. Though not exactly how i would do it, and the mile end road house is far more interesting, the square this house is on is far, far nicer. This is the only one for sale currently there -http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Looking through the photos that looks like a very interesting place but am I the only one that was a bit disappointed to read that the decor was the result of recent extensive renovation rather than 100 years of development and neglect?http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Photo 6 must be Eva Green's room
This is it in 1998, so the ground floor might have had some work unless the original walls behind the shops were untouched. The top floor half missing (blitz damage?) has been rebuilt.

This (the Stepney house) will be very interesting to follow. Finding someone who wants to live there and like that will be like searching for the proverbial needle in a very large haystack.
On the other hand to "Do it up" would destroy the character and from what I can see not add much value.
Sadly, I can see it being divided into flats after the viewings fail to produce offers.

That is awful, if you want to live in the country live in the country. Bet its going to take quite some removals vans to shift that lot.http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Whomever does get it (A developer I suspect) will completely overhaul it for the footballers market!

Nope. It was a genuine question. I'll look on Google.
ETA: Oh an actress but I'm none the wiser why pic 6 would be like her room. Keep vampires out?
I should perhaps have put Vanessa Ives (her character in Penny Dreadful), scary crucifix room and she is being chased by Vampires.ETA: Oh an actress but I'm none the wiser why pic 6 would be like her room. Keep vampires out?

I like it and appreciate how well designed it is.Would I buy it - not at anything close to that price and it's only a few miles from me.
