A couple from Cheshire that I've been dreaming of if the EuroSquillions comes up:

Lots of outbuildings for toys, a lake, up to 330 acres for a racetrack ha ha and close to Oulton Park

If they shift the decimal place over, I'm going to view it. That's amazing.

Quite a special place has just come onto the market in Bath. Offers in excess of £5.75 million - which seems quite a lot for a home which will need an interior makeover

http://search.savills.com//content/assets/properti...

14,000 sq/ft though, so if it was on an equivalent terrace in Belgravia then I imagine you'd be looking at £30 million plus. Lovely part of the world though!

Odd to utterly empty the house, yet leave a car behind
Obviously just put the car there to show what it was for.
And what is it for? confused
So you can admire your car while you have a swim!

Autotrader founder John Madjeski had a glass walled garage in his house so he could look at his car whilst in his gym.
kind of think it would be quite funny to have one of those and then stick a 1992 nissan micra in it.

All the bedrooms in the tower, but not a single photo of a bedroom....

And most of the upper part of the tower rented out to telecoms companies.

Just don't see the attraction of living there. The views from the top would be far reaching, but actually you are too high up to appreciate them in detail.

It's an impressive area, but you're right - an interior makeover/redesign is needed to make it work, or to reinstate more traditional touches.

Quite a lot of problems with this - not least of which is the kitchen - but what a location and, relatedly, the "golf bag store" in the cellar!

What do you mean, there's no attraction.

Can't you see the barrel-vaulted conservatory? It even apes the gothic arches throughout!!! Very tasteful.

£1.7 million, just because you can see a golf course out of the front window?

FFS!

You can make a fortune renting it out during The Open. I'm pretty sure it's the most expensive road / area in Scotland. This place sold last year in less than a week! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3099534/Dr...

£2M+. You wont have to worry about phone reception...

"The first 4 floors each feature a bedroom with en suite bathroom, with the remaining floors left unoccupied save for 3 of the upper floors currently Let to various telecommunications providers as an obvious site for their transmitters.

Unoccupied apart from being full of comms equipment... rolleyes

I usually hate stuff like that. My preference is large, traditional, imposing stuff.

But... for what it is, I quite like that.

I always imagine stuff like this been built out in the wilds, but that looks as if it's in the middle of a housing estate.

I like it for its weirdness, but wouldn't want to live in it.

It would take a brave move to live in it as it is just so different.

This, however.........
