I usually hate stuff like that. My preference is large, traditional, imposing stuff.

But... for what it is, I quite like that.
Pics 2 & 8: the courtyard look like a commerical building?

that's utterly abysmal. Looks like some kind of visitors centre.

I quite like it, but I know the area very well. £900k is too much money for absolutely no chance of anything even resembling a view.

You get quite a lot of house round here for that sort of cash, unless some rich recluse just happens upon it, it will be on the market a looong time.

It would take a brave move to live in it as it is just so different.

Almost perfect. Surprised that it has radiators rather than underfloor heating as a new-build.

The agent's web page for it is far better than most as well. Except I cannot quite see where the other barn is in relation to the main house.

It is indeed lovely, but coming from that neck of the woods, I'd be very surprised if that went for much more than £1m.

i'd buy it for £1m in a heartbeat. Sadly £2m is not remotely possible.

My grandparents had a place in Dartmouth when i was a kid, love it round there.

This is a perfect example of the absolute lunacy of the London market.

Anywhere outside London this would be £200k.

Agreed, London prices never cease to amaze me.

Are those fittings now seen as some sort of 'shabby chic' now ?

Unbelievable. A bit stunned if I'm honest.

Who pays >£1m for this, in my opinion, poop hole? It looks like a bed sit.

Around my way (East Cambs.) it would be ~£150k and populated by some scrote no doubt. Ah ha, there's the difference.

Ha yes, I was amused at the close up shots of the sort of stuff (sorry, period features) you'd throw into the skip while gutting the place.

Near me (a village in Northants) that would be around £180k at a push, especially given the amount of work required to make it pleasant.
