Umm yes that would probably do me. My only problem with it is that I'm not sure I would ever leave.

They overdid it with the kitchen units....It's screaming out for a little colour and some tasteful furnishings/decor to soften the house but I really like it. The modern layout, the openness and privacy...

1hr commute to work is fine.

Shame I don't have anywhere near enough money.

Would a good enough lawyer be able to get that extended after purchase?

Worth the risk perhaps for someone with a team of them.

Will be interesting to see what it eventually does go for as will be telling on the possibilities of doing so.

Read the story elsewhere, Grosvenor have said they'll extend by 20 years for 5-600k. It will go for way more than 295 at auction.

Forget the golf course maintenance and turn the whole lot into a MX track = result

However as always the catch has to be geography:

South of the river you stop and you hold everything

Weird - it does nothing for me. The grounds look good, although the upkeep would annoy, and I dont mind the exterior of the house but the interior is a big no for me. I would need to rip a lot out and start again - that stair case is absolutely vile.

Each to their own though. I like the one mentioned above (the old rectory I think it was) with nice square rooms.

The grounds are nice but the interior is awful.

Bad advertising. Features the garden/golf course heavily, and yet the main deal breaker for house sales is usually keeping the misses happy with a lovely kitchen, yet there are no shots of the kitchen....

Great find.
Bit strong for Scotland, though, isn't it?

My old bosses house, was also the house on Footballers Wives, he owned it when they were filming it there.

Was about 10m cheaper when he bought it too.
